Wendy Hanasky graduated from Ohio University
with a comprehensive business education degree. She holds
a Masters degree in Education Administration from Franciscan
University and currently is pursuing a doctoral degree in
Technology Education from West Virginia University.
Wendy began her career as a high school
business teacher at Heath High School in Heath, Ohio. She
moved back to her home town to take a position teaching in
the Administrative Assistant program at Belmont Career Center.
From there, Wendy taught in the Computer Application Department
at Jefferson Community College in Steubenville, Ohio. Currently,
Wendy works as a Supervisor/Professional Development Coordinator
for the Jefferson County Educational Service Center (JCESC).
Some of Wendys duties at the JCESC
include administering daily operations of the Virtual Learning
Academy, providing training and support for participating
districts of the Virtual Learning Academy, coordinating Summer
Technology Workshops, and providing professional development
training to district personnel.
